I've been pretty idle from D.A., eh?
Not that I was particularly active in the first place...

As of August this year, I moved to Japan in Hokkaido, to start my new job. Yes, I actually managed to graduate University in July considering my lack of work.
My contract is for a year, but I can extend it up to 3 years if I want to. At the moment I'm thinking 2 years...but not sure yet.

Not only have I parted from my beloved England, I've had to part with my ever so wonderful cosplay group, 'Badass Notebooks'. Ookamiaku, Malfoymation will be my Light & L forever and ever. If it wasn't for them, I probably would have never even tried cosplay! I'm really really going to miss not taking part in their amazing antics... Not like they're gonna miss me anyway, seeing as apparently they already have a REPLACEMENT MISA, PSSSSHT. XD No matter, I believe I'm better at men/boy cosplay anyway. XP

Which leads me to my next point. I may have left 1 cosplay group, but I've sorta joined another here in Japan. It actually consists of my 2 third-cousins (my mum's cousins' daughters). Our ages are quite close and we all get along really well. I met up with them last week when I went to Tokyo for a few days, and my god... they'd turned into such Otakus, bless them XD. They are completely OBSESSED with this Anime/Manga called "Reborn" and totally fangirl over all the make-believe yaoi pairings. We went to the land of Anime, 'Akihabara', and they were buying book after book of Doujishinis (I think?). We even went kareoke, and all the songs they sang were the character songs for 'Reborn'. I had no freakin' clue. o_o They cosplay the characters too, and desperately want me to join in.
So I shall 8D;
I've still got to get my head round the Anime, but they've already decided which boy characters they want me to do. Should be fun

On the other hand, I still have a ton of cosplay photos which I haven't got round to putting up yet. I should get round to that... When I've found a good photo editing programme for my shiney new Mac ( YES!! ♥ )

All in all though, I love it here in Hokkaido so far.
Everyone around me is lovely and the scenery is STUNNING. I'm very glad I was placed in the beautiful countryside intead of busy, packed, we-have-no-manners-push-past-you Tokyo. Although I love going there occasionally ( Harajuku drains my purse ;o; ), I think I'd go crazy if I had to live or even WORK there. I'd probably get 2 hours sleep a night -_-;;

Hmmm, I may update this Journal a bit more too.
